Implementing a strategic rebranding drug initiative
In Summer 2021, I was an Art Direction Intern at a FCB Health New York, a full-service healthcare agency with 40+ years of experience marketing to healthcare professionals, patients and consumers under IPG Health. I worked on the Sublocade and Cologuard Account.

Opioid Use Disorder is a problematic pattern of opioid use that causes significant changes in patients everday physical and emotional health. Access to opioids is on the rise, and the opioid epidemic has been declared a public health emergency.
Our audience
Overview
Navigating Recovery
Sublocade provides the guidance and support they need to begin recovery and be successful. Due to stigma and lack of support patients often feel confused, scared and alone. If you wander through a maze without help or strategy, it is easy to feel like you will never escape.
The Activation Event
Sublocade Maze Experience
The rebrand will be accompanied by a traveling maze pop-up will be constructed of synthetic hedge maze, gradient rug with Sublocade’s colors that will lead visitors to the way out. It will travel to city’s that have the highest rates of opioid use and overdose.
Visitors are presented with statistics and recovering OUD patient stories. At the information tents at both ends of the maze, attendees can chat with the Sublocade team available for questions. The maze will be operated by volunteers who work in the substance abuse field.
The microsite
Our microsite will act as a permanent library of the patient stories featured in the maze on the Sublocade website. We believe that the stories housed here will help destigmatize OUD by starting an open, human conversation about the recovery process.
